BERLIN (AP) — All four quarterfinals at the Berlin Open were postponed because heavy rain washed out the entire Friday schedule.The day’s matches, including fourth-ranked Caroline Garcia against former Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova, were repeatedly delayed before organizers said on Friday evening that no play would be possible.The postponement sets up a busy Saturday when organizers seek to make the most of drier weather to fit in the four quarterfinals and both semifinals. CLEVELAND (AP) — Milwaukee Brewers reliever Matt Bush has been activated after missing two months with an injury to his right rotator cuff.The Brewers activated the right-hander Friday before opening a three-game series at Cleveland. Bush fills the roster spot vacated by right-handed pitcher Trevor Megill, who was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday.Bush, 37, opened the season as the Brewers’ main setup man to closer Devin Williams, but he posted an 0-1 record with an 8.22 ERA in nine appearances before going on the injured list on April 24.The Brewers acquired Bush from the Texas Rangers at last year’s trade deadline. Two people were hospitalized after being shot at a Walgreens in Plantation. Plantation Fire Rescue arrived at the scene at 3895 W. Broward Blvd., Friday afternoon. 7Skyforce hovered over the scene where the victims were seen on gurneys as they were placed inside a fire rescue truck. One of the victims was seen sitting up on the gurney while the other was not. No other injuries were reported. An Aventura Police officer who is accused of kidnapping and aggravated assault with deadly weapon bonded out of jail. On Friday, David Esteban Delgado left the corrections facility after being fitted with an ankle monitor. 7News Cameras captured Delgado wearing a hoodie and quickly leaving the facility with his wife. He refused to answer any questions. During his court appearance on Thursday, Delgado claimed that his wife’s cellphone was stolen back in May and used tracking technology from the phone to pinpoint a location.He then began to follow a vehicle, initiated a stop and confronted two men who he allegedly unlawfully detained at gunpoint.According to an arrest affidavit, Delgado’s wife is a valet attendant at the Aventura Mall. The victims stated that when she returned their car to them, they found a cellphone that did not belong to them. The two were in communication with Delgado’s wife to return the phone.
