SWAT respond to reported shooting at Centennial Walmart CENTENNIAL, Colo. (KDVR) -- There is a large police presence at a Walmart in Centennial after a report of shots fired, however, the sheriff said this is not an active shooter situation.According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, a deputy was in the area of the Walmart at 10900 East Briarwood Avenue when she noticed people running from it. 17-year-old arrested in connection to fatal shooting in Tamarac Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives arrested a 17-year-old in connection to a fatal shooting in Tamarac.According to BSO, on Wednesday, Nov. 22, authorities responded to reports of shots fired near the 7000 block of Northwest 79th Avenue. Deputies said they discovered a 21-year-old man inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.Homicide detectives said they found that the victim had been shot while inside the vehicle, which he subsequently crashed into a nearby pole.Through investigative methods, the suspect was identified, and a search warrant was executed at his home in Margate.The 17-year-old has been booked into the Juvenile Assessment Center on a felony murder charge.

2 people, including a Sunrise Police officer, injured following shooting in Fort Lauderdale A Sunrise Police officer and a suspect were hospitalized following an officer-involved shooting in Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale Police responded to the area of 200 Street and Northwest 22nd Avenue, just after 2 p.m. The officer was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center via ground transport with a gunshot wound to their leg. The suspect was also transported to an area hospital as a result of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
